Your Campus Social and Environmental Justice Centre

The Nova Scotia Public Interest Research Group is a social and environmental justice resource centre on Dalhousie Campus. We're located in the basement of the Student Union Building (SUB) and would like to acknowledge that we're situated on unceded Mi'kmaq territory.
NSPIRG is a non partisan not-for-profit organization. We operate independently as a levied society of Dalhousie and King's College student unions.
We link research with action and support student led initiatives and the creation of working groups.
Currently NSPIRG has 4 working groups: Divest Dal, Kind Krafts, RSAN, and the windpool community. We also partner with the loaded ladle: a student run weekly vegan lunch service free to students in the student union building.
If you've stumbled upon this site to learn more about who we are and what we're doing, you've come to the right place.
The focus of our blog is around community stories. We want to share with others the amazing work people like you are doing to not only improve the lives of your peers, but to fight for systematic inequalities suppressing individuals in unjust systems.
In addition we want YOU to help us write these stories. We believe that there are storytellers everywhere and would love to see the work of the community featured. If this is something you're interested in you can contact us at info@nspirg.ca.
Cheers,
